Its low density indicates that the planet is composed primarily of the lightest elements - hydrogen and helium. The planet is well-known for "The Great Red Spot", a complex storm moving in a counter-clockwise direction, across the planet.
Jupiter is encircled by at least 61 satellites and a series of thin rings which makes it similar to a miniature solar system.
