The Lock provides single or multi-user Windows 95/98/ME desktop and system protection. Security features include: configuration for individual programs to be allowed or disallowed, user time and length login restrictions, file locking capabilities, and many Windows 9x policy options. All security features are configured by an Administrator on a User Group level (90 groups total). Users are added to user group profiles. User group profiles are stored locally or on a single common network resource. User passwords can be verified by The Lock itself, the local Windows 9x/ME system, a Netware Server, or a Windows NT server. Configuration Wizards help make setup simple and quick. Free network tools help monitor and distribute The Lock to multiple networked
systems.
